Protect the part. Keep the batch identifiable.
Outer packing secures the shipment unit. Protection inside each carton must address the machined surfaces, finishes and assembly requirements of the actual component.
Wrapping and strapping
Film and straps secure cartons to the pallet. Agree the pallet size, handling method and transport conditions alongside the part quantity.
Staging before dispatch
Cartons are staged in the packing transfer area. Identify the finished-part condition and carton contents before the outer shipment unit is secured.
Labels that support receiving
Define the part number, revision, quantity and lot reference needed on the label. Keep these consistent with the delivery and inspection paperwork.
